London is the capital of the United Kingdom and Europe’s largest city. This big city is divided by the river Thames into northern and southern halves.
Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Transfer from Heathrow Airport to the Turner Hotel by coach. Accommodation at the Turner Hotel.
Our tour starts with the visit to Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of the Royal Family. You can see the Changing of the Guard at the gates of the palace at 11.30. Then we walk in St. James’s Park, the most ancient of the Royal city parks. After that we go to visit the Houses of Parliament, which houses the House of Commons and the House of Lords, this building stands on the north bank of the river Thames and it is near Big Ben the clock tower, a symbol of London.

COSA C'E' DA VISITARE A LONDRA

After the visit to the Houses of Parliament, we have packed lunch and 30 minutes break. Then we walk to Westminster Abbey where you can see the Stone of Scone. After this visit we cross Westminster Bridge to reach the London Eye, the world’s highest observation wheel where you can get a breathtaking view of the city.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.      
Day 2
After breakfast, we go to Trafalgar Square where we can admire Nelson’s Column which commemorates Horatio Nelson’s victory over Napoleon at Trafalgar in 1805. Then we reach Piccadilly Circus, the centre of London’s entertainment world where you can see many theatres, cinemas, restaurants, discos and  nightclubs, there is also the statue of Eros in the middle of square. After Piccadilly Circus we walk along Regents Street and Oxford Street where you can find the department store “Selfridges”, so you can go shopping. Later we have packed lunch. After that we walk and reach Hyde Park, divided from Kensington Gardens by the Serpentine. You can listen to a speaker in the Speaker’s Corner.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3
After breakfast we take the underground, called The Tube, and we go to visit the City, the financial centre of London.
Then we go to visit the British Museum where you can admire the works of man from prehistoric to modern times from all around the world, like the Rosetta Stone and part of Athens’s Parthenon. After the British Museum we go to the Tower of London, the fortress built by William the Conqueror which contains the Crown Jewels; Anne Boleyn was executed here. Then we cross Tower Bridge which is  on the river Thames and is a drawbridge
