1.    AUTHOR: Talk about the author and say his/her name, the period in which he/she lived and where.                                                     EXAMPLE:
- The author of this painting/work is...(name).
He/She was born in... (17..., 18..., 19...) during... (Romanticism, Cubism,... ) in... (London, Paris, Rome,...)

2.    WORK OF ART: Introduce the work saying when it was made and how it is named.
EXAMPLE:
- The painting/work was made in... (17...,18..., 19...) and its title is... ("The Shipwreck", "The Hay Wain"...)

3.    DESCRIPTION: When you describe a work of art, you should start from the top and explain what you see.
EXAMPLE:
- Starting from the top, I can see... (a cloudy sky, a blue sky, the night sky,...)
- On the top there is/are...(flying birds, stars,)

4.    DESCRIPTION 2: Proceed with the description by moving on the right, in the middle and on the left.
EXAMPLE:
- On the right, I can see... (some people,  animals,...)
- On the right side, there is/are...(some rocks, tree trunks,...)
- In the middle, I can see...(a waterfall, a camp,...)
- On the left, I can see...(a flock, a valley,...)
- On the left side, there is/are...(houses,...).
