When did it start? 2008
Where did it start? USA
Why did it start ( root causes )? Banks lent lots of money without asking for guarantees. Loans were not covered, people didn’t give money back, banks which couldn’t get money from their customers collapsed ( Lehman Brothers).

In 2009 the crisis spread out to Europe ( Eurozone).
Consequences : Banks didn’t give back the money invested or charged high interests on money lent.
In 2010 people have got less money, they don’t buy, sales decrease, production decreases, people don’t work, unemployment increases, no money for facilities, etc.

Governments have to help. How? Reforms to help companies and families ( investments in public infrastructures).
Do Governments have the money?
Italy has no money : Debt in Italy is heavy, we can’t make/print money, we can’t put money in infrastructures ( France and Germany can)
