II is the 44th President of the U.S.A. and he’s the 1st no-white President. He was born in Honolulu, on the Hawaii Islands on the August 4th 1961. His father, whose name was Barack too, was born in Kenya, Africa on the banks of Victoria Lake from a farmer family. When he was a student, he moved to Hawaii and met Ann, Obama’s mother. She was white. After some time Barack senior decided to go back to Kenya and left Barack junior alone. When he was three, his mother married an Indonesian manager and they moved to Giakara. He graduated at the Columbia University in New York then he worked for Developing Communities Project in Chicago. He spent three years helping the poor
people of the South Side, the black ghetto in New York. He moved again to the Harvard University where he got his degree in law and became the first black director of the “Law Review”. Barack went back to Chicago where he worked in a lawyer’s office for people who suffered for racial discrimination. In the mean time he had married Michelle and they had two daughters, Malia and Sasha. In 1996 he became a Senate candidate for the Democratic party in Illinois and he won the election. In 2006 the “Time” put his face on the news paper cover and wrote: “Here’s the next American President”.

State. Obama’s official nomination as a Democrat candidate was on August 28th 2008 in Denver. During his electoral campaign his wife Michelle was
always beside him. On November 4th he won the Presidential election with his slogan “YES WE CAN!”. He defeated the Republican candidate John
McCain. On January 20th 2009, at twelve o’clock, he was nominated the “44th President of the United States of America”.
